With Whom I Work
Counselling for people from 8 years who choose to attend
This is predominantly a service for people who wish to make positive change for themselves. I hold a thorough understanding of the personal difficulties of systems and social myths regarding our differences. Each story holds its own challenge. I am open for discussion and can be flexible if it appears a good fit for both yourself and me.
I can work with you on Thursdays in Ulladulla or online Friday or Saturday. However, I may be able to be flexible on these arrangements. Please be aware that for some people online work is not suitable.
I prefer to speak with a new client where we can discuss and consider if working together is suitable through our mutual exchange.
Discussion and negotiation is required regarding suitability for my convening Family Group Conferences and the planning processes involved.

How I work
I believe that you have the answers within yourself for what you want to change. I will genuinely and respectfully assist you to make meaning from what has happened to you which can encourage your inner self-awareness to expand. We will work towards you feeling improved fulfilment in your life which will involve changes within yourself and possibly your outer world.
Different emotions, thoughts and feelings may arise and affect your energy as part of your processes.
I have an awareness that many people have experiences of oppression and social inequities that has influenced experiences of life internally, externally and genetically.
In my ongoing studies I am influenced by many psychologist, psychiatrist and philosophers who have influenced theories in existentialism, neurobiology, self psychology, transactional analysis, attachment theory, strength based, cognitive behavioural therapy and somatic movement to name a few.
Over the years I have learnt that any of this knowledge could be recalled depending on your processing in my presence.
My aim is to walk with you so you feel understood and you do not feel alone.
‘Morality is not the doctrine of how we make ourselves happy but of how we may make ourselves worthy of happiness’.
– Immanuel Kant
